🚪 How to log out
You can now log out directly from the app - no need to delete or reinstall anything.
📱 On mobile (iPhone / Android)
Open the Beside mobile app
Go to Settings
Scroll to the bottom, tap Logout (grey text)
Confirm when prompted
🖥️ On desktop (macOS)
Open the Beside app for macOS
Go to Settings
Open the Account tab
Click Log out
⚠️ Important: Turn off call forwarding before logging out (mobile only)
If you currently use Call Forwarding, make sure to turn it off before logging out on the mobile app.
Why this matters:
If call forwarding stays enabled after you log out and you’re no longer using the Beside app, your calls will continue routing to your Beside number instead of your personal phone.
To avoid missed calls = Disable call forwarding on your phone:
Beside app: Settings → Inbox → Phone: Configure Number → Call Forwarding → Turn it off
or
iPhone: Settings → Phone → Call Forwarding → Turn it off
Android: Settings → Network & Internet → Calls → Call Forwarding → Disable all options

Once call forwarding is off, you can safely log out.
