Why messages to yourself don't appear
Beside currently does not display conversations with your own number. The message is delivered in the background, but the app doesn't show that thread.
This means if you text your Beside number from your personal phone number, the conversation won't be visible in the Inbox tab.
Test your Beside number
To confirm your Beside number is working, use a different phone number (not your own) to send a text or call:
A colleague's phone
A family member's phone
A secondary device
If that message arrives, your texting is working normally.
