After each call/meeting, Beside automatically creates a summary to help you review key points and next steps.

📌 Visibility of call summaries

  • If your contact uses Beside: Both you and your contact can see the call summary directly in the app.

❓ FAQ

Are shared call/meeting links secure?

Yes. Shared links in Beside are fully secure and cannot be accessed by anyone unless you explicitly choose to share the URL yourself.

When you share a meeting, Beside generates a signed, unique, unguessable link.

Only someone who receives that link from you can open it. No one can “discover” it randomly.

This follows the same security model used by platforms like Google Docs, Google Drive, and other mainstream collaboration tools.

Can anyone view my transcripts or summaries without permission?

No.

Nobody can access your call transcripts, summaries, or recordings unless you actively share the link with them.

If you don’t share the link, the content remains private and only visible inside your Beside account.

Do shared links expire?

Not at the moment.

Shared links currently have no automatic expiration, similar to how public-share links work on Google Docs or many cloud platforms.

However, our engineering team is reviewing whether adding optional expiration could help users who want more control.

Can I revoke a shared link?

Today, Beside doesn’t offer a user-facing button to revoke a previously shared link.
