How do I restore my subscription if I already paid?

Paid but still see the paywall? Use "Restore Purchases" to re-sync your Beside subscription.

If you've already subscribed to Beside but are still seeing a paywall, Restore Purchases can help. It re-syncs your App Store subscription with our system, making sure your active plan is correctly detected.


🔄 When should I use "Restore Purchases"?

You should try this option if:

  • You've paid for Beside but the app still asks you to subscribe

  • You reinstalled the app or switched to a new device

  • You made changes to your subscription outside the app (like through iCloud Settings or an Apple billing email)

In the Beside app, go to:

Settings → Manage Plan → Restore Purchases

Tapping this button will prompt the app to check with Apple and apply your correct subscription status.

Here are some scenarios where Restore Purchases can fix things:

1. You reinstalled the app or changed devices

Your subscription might not carry over right away, but tapping Restore Purchases will refresh it.

2. You accidentally created a second account

If you log in with the wrong email or number, a new account may be created. Your subscription stays linked to the original one, but restoring may help apply it in the current session.

⚠️ Note: This doesn't transfer your call history or data between accounts.

3. You changed or fixed your subscription through your app store

If you updated your plan, fixed a billing issue, or made any changes through iCloud, a Google or an Apple email, Restore Purchases helps ensure the changes sync with your Beside app.
