Request a refund

Request a refund for your Beside subscription from Apple, Google Play, or Beside directly - steps for each platform and what to expect.

Refunds must be requested through the platform where you originally subscribed: Apple (App Store), Google Play, or Beside directly (Stripe).

โš ๏ธ Important: Beside cannot issue refunds for Apple or Google Play subscriptions. Those must be requested directly from Apple or Google.


Refund for an Apple subscription

Step 1: Cancel your subscription

  1. Follow the steps for your device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac)

Step 2: Request a refund from Apple

  1. Sign in with the Apple ID used for your Beside subscription

  2. Find your Beside purchase

  3. Select Request a Refund and choose a reason

  4. Submit your request

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: Apple usually reviews refund requests within 48 hours and replies by email. You will keep access to Beside until the end of your billing period.


Refund for a Google Play subscription

Step 1: Cancel your subscription

  1. Open the Google Play Store

  2. Tap your profile icon, then Payments and subscriptions

  3. Select Subscriptions, then Beside

  4. Tap Cancel Subscription

Step 2: Request a refund from Google

Option A - Request directly through Google (recommended)

  1. Open Google's refund page

  2. Sign in with the Google account used for Beside

  3. Select the Beside subscription

  4. Choose a reason and submit

Option B - Request from your order history

  1. Go to payments.google.com

  2. Sign in and open Order History

  3. Select your Beside purchase and click Request a refund

Refund for a Beside (Stripe) subscription

Step 1: Cancel your subscription

On mobile:

  1. Open the Beside mobile app

  2. Go to Settings, then Manage Your Plan

  3. Tap Cancel Subscription

On web:

  1. Go to Settings, then Manage Your Plan

  2. Click Cancel Subscription

Step 2: Request a refund from Beside

Contact our support team through the in-app chat or at [email protected]. Share the reason for your refund request and our team will review it.

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear depending on your bank.

โš ๏ธ Important: As stated in our Terms of Service, subscription payments are non-refundable and there are no credits for partially used periods. That said, we review all refund requests on a case-by-case basis.


FAQ

What happens to my call forwarding after I cancel?

If you had call forwarding enabled, make sure to disable it - otherwise calls may continue routing to your Beside number.

What if my original payment method is no longer active?

Apple: May refund to your Apple ID balance.

Google Play: May refund to your Google Play balance.

Stripe: Refunds go back to the original card. If your card was replaced, your bank will typically credit the new card. If fully closed, the refund may be returned to us and we'll arrange an alternative.

I was charged twice. What should I do?

There are several reasons this can happen (in-app upgrades, resubscribing after a billing issue, and more). Identify your scenario first to know what to cancel and where to request the refund.

Once you've identified the duplicate subscription, cancel it and mention the duplicate charge clearly in your refund request.
