Bring Beside with you on the go - available for iPhone and iPad.

✅ System requirements

iPhone 8 and newer
At least 150 MB of free storage

⚙️ How to install

1️⃣ Open the App Store
2️⃣ Search for “Beside”
3️⃣ Tap Get (or ☁️ if re-downloading)
4️⃣ Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password
5️⃣ Once installed, tap Open or locate Beside on your home screen.

🔑 How to log in

On iOS, you can log in using:

Phone number
Email
Google Sign-in
Apple Sign-in

Tip #1: If you already created a Beside account on another platform (iOS, Android, or macOS), make sure to log in with the same login method so all your data stays synchronized and you don’t accidentally create a separate account.

Tip #2: If you want to use Beside on macOS as well, make sure you can access your Google account, since macOS supports Google login only.

🔐 iOS permissions

Beside will request access to:

Microphone → to record and transcribe calls
Notifications (optional) → to receive call and message alerts
Contacts (optional) → to help identify callers

To manage permissions later: Go to Settings → Beside and toggle permissions on or off.

💻 Beside for macOS

Beside is now available for macOS!

Whether you’re using Beside to join meetings, take AI-powered notes, or sync seamlessly with your iPhone, here’s how to get started.

(It does not support calling or texting)

✅ System requirements

To install Beside on your Mac, make sure you have:

macOS 15.0 or later
Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3) or Intel processor (required for some features)
At least 200 MB of free storage
❗ A Google account (for login + calendar integration)

⚙️ How to install

1️⃣ Go to beside.app/download
2️⃣ Download the Beside.dmg file
3️⃣ Open the file and drag Beside into your Applications folder
4️⃣ Open Applications → Beside
5️⃣ Click Open when prompted

🔑 How to log in

Beside for macOS currently supports Google sign-in only.

Important note: If your Beside account was created on iOS using:

📱 Phone number
🍎 Apple Sign-In

You must first connect your Google account from the mobile app.

This step links your Google account to your existing Beside profile → enabling login on macOS.

👉 How to correctly link your Google Account

On your phone:

Open the Beside app
Go to Settings
Tap Get Beside for Mac (or use the deep link)
Follow the steps to connect your Google account

🔐 macOS permissions

To work properly, Beside needs access to:

Calendar → to detect upcoming meetings
Notifications → to send meeting reminders
Microphone → record meeting audio
Screen Recording → for meeting transcription

To adjust permissions later: Beside Desktop system → Settings → Permissions + Recordings

🤖 Beside for Android (Beta)

Beside is now available on Android as a public beta (Early Access).

This means the app is fully downloadable, but still under active development - new improvements are released every week.

⚠️ Some features available on iOS are not yet available on Android.

Tip: If you already created a Beside account on another platform (iOS, Android, or macOS), make sure to log in with the same login method.
This ensures your account syncs properly and prevents creating a duplicate account.
