How do I cancel my Beside subscription?

Learn how to cancel your Beside subscription on iPhone, Android, or Desktop, depending on where you originally subscribed (App Store, Google Play, or Stripe).

⚠️ Important notes

  • Deleting the Beside app does not cancel your subscription.

  • Canceling your subscription does not delete your Beside account or erase your data.

  • The cancellation process depends on where you originally subscribed (Apple, Google Play, or Stripe).

  • If you're on a free trial, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends.

  • Deleting the Beside app or canceling your subscription does not disable call forwarding. If you had call forwarding enabled, you'll need to turn it off manually to stop calls from being routed to Beside


If you subscribed through Apple (iPhone, iPad)

Subscriptions purchased via the Apple App Store are managed entirely by Apple.

  1. Open the Settings app

  2. Tap your Apple ID (your name at the top)

  3. Tap Subscriptions → select Beside

  4. Tap Cancel Subscription

💡 Alternative method:

You can also manage or cancel your subscription from Apple's website: account.apple.com

📌 Subscriptions purchased via the App Store are fully managed by Apple, and Apple does not allow Beside to cancel, change, or refund these subscriptions.


If you subscribed through Google Play (Android)

Subscriptions purchased via the Google Play Store are managed entirely by Google.

➡️ Steps on Android devices

  1. Open the Google Play Store

  2. Tap your profile picture (top right)

  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions

  4. Tap Subscriptions → select Beside

  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

💡 Alternative method:

You can also manage or cancel your subscription from the Google Play website: play.google.com

📌 Subscriptions purchased via the Google Play Store are fully managed by Google, and Google does not allow Beside to cancel, change, or refund these subscriptions.


If you subscribed through the web (Stripe billing)

If you subscribed outside the App Store or Google Play, your subscription is managed via Stripe.

🌐 Canceling a Beside mobile subscription purchased on the web

If in the Beside mobile app:

  • you go to Settings → Manage Plan

  • and see the message “You’re subscribed on web”

  • this means your subscription cannot be managed in the mobile app.

You’ll need to manage it through the Beside web app instead.

  1. Sign in to your Beside account

  2. In the left side bar, select Settings

  3. Under Current Plan, click Manage Plan

  4. You'll be redirected to the Stripe customer portal

  5. Click Update Subscription: you can cancel your plan there, or change your subscription if needed

💻 Canceling a Beside Desktop subscription (macOS)

If you subscribed to Beside Desktop, you can cancel your subscription directly from the macOS app.

➡️ Steps

  1. Open Beside on macOS

  2. Open Settings (right-click the Beside icon in the macOS menu bar)

  3. Go to Team & Plan

  4. Click on Current plan

  5. You'll receive an email in your Google inbox - open it and click Manage subscription

  6. This will take you to the Stripe customer portal.

  7. Click Manage subscription again and follow the steps to cancel.

After cancellation, you'll receive a confirmation email. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. ✅


Turn off call forwarding (mobile only)

If you previously enabled Call Forwarding, make sure to disable it before canceling your subscription or deleting the Beside mobile app.

If call forwarding remains active, incoming calls may continue to route to your Beside number, which can result in missed or undelivered calls.

📍 Important note:

  • Due to carrier restrictions, Beside can’t disable call forwarding on your behalf.This must be done directly through your mobile carrier.

  • If you’re having trouble turning it off, we recommend contacting your carrier so they can reset your forwarding settings.


Deleting your Beside account

Canceling your subscription does not delete your Beside account or erase your data.
