🧩 What the Beside + HubSpot integration does
The Beside HubSpot integration syncs your incoming leads, caller details, and voice interactions directly into HubSpot.
Once connected, you can:
Automatically create HubSpot contacts from incoming calls and voicemails
Sync caller details extracted by the AI Receptionist (name, email, company, etc.)
Log phone calls and voicemails as activities in HubSpot
Attach call summaries, outcomes, and recordings to HubSpot contacts
Centralize all inbound communication from Beside into your HubSpot CRM
This integration currently supports one-way sync (Beside → HubSpot).
🔑 Connect your HubSpot account to Beside
Open the Beside mobile app
Go to Settings → Integrations.
Under Connected Integrations, select HubSpot.
Tap Connect.
Sign in to your HubSpot account if prompted.
Click Choose Account.
Review the requested scopes on this screen. Beside requests access to read and write contacts, calls and company properties.
Click Connect app.
You will be redirected to the Beside Integrations page, and HubSpot will appear as "Connected".
📥 How the sync works
1. Contact sync
New callers become HubSpot contacts automatically
AI Receptionist–extracted details (name, email, company) are included
If no name is provided, Beside creates a contact using the phone number
If new details appear later (calls, voicemails, SMS), the HubSpot contact is updated automatically
If First Name, Last Name, Email or Phone number already exists, it won't be overridden.
2. Communication sync
Every voice interaction is logged in HubSpot with:
Summary
Recording (native upload or link)
Outcome
Direction
Link to the Beside call note
🔌 Disconnect HubSpot from Beside
⚠️ Note: If you disconnect your HubSpot account from Beside, lead & account data will no longer sync to HubSpot contacts and vice versa. Existing data will remain on your HubSpot records.
Open Beside.
Go to Settings → Integrations.
Click on the connected HubSpot account.
Confirm

❓ FAQ
Is two-way sync supported (HubSpot → Beside)?
Not yet. The integration currently syncs Beside → HubSpot only.
Will caller details (name/email/company) be auto-extracted?
Yes, expanded AI extraction is working for calls handled by the AI receptionist. Regular calls, voicemails, and SMS are coming.
Can I show HubSpot contact info live when a call is ringing?
This feature is planned, not yet available.
Can I combine this integration with Zapier?
Yes, Zapier is fully compatible and can extend automation workflows.
