You can change your Beside number directly from the app.
📌 Please note that you can only change your number once.
If you're on a Business plan and have multiple lines, you can change your Beside number once for each inbox.
Here's how to change your Beside number depending on which plan you're on ⬇️
Steps apply to both iPhone and Android.
👤 Starter plan
If you're on a Starter plan:
Open Beside → go to the Settings tab
In the Phone section → tap Configure number.
Tap Change → tap Continue
📌 You can change your Beside number for free once.
Enter your preferred area code in the search field.
Browse the available numbers and tap the one you want.
📌 If you can't find the desired area code, it means we currently have no numbers available in that area.
Tap Continue to confirm your choice.
👥 Business plan
If you're on a Business plan and have multiple lines and inboxes, you can change the number for each one individually. Here's how:
Open Beside → go to the Settings tab
In the Inboxes section → tap the inbox you want to update.
In the Phone section → tap Configure number.
Tap Change → tap Continue
📌 You can change your Beside number for free once.
Enter your preferred area code in the search field.
Browse the available numbers and tap the one you want.
📌 If you can't find the desired area code, it means we currently have no numbers available in that area.
Tap Continue to confirm your choice.
⚠️ Important notes
Remember: number changes are limited to one per inbox.
You cannot change your number to a toll-free or virtual 800 number.
Beside can only help you choose an area code. We're unable to guarantee or manually assign a specific phone number within that area code.
