Daily Recap is an AI-powered feature that automatically summarizes your day's activity in Beside - including calls, texts, voice notes, and more - into one clear overview.
When enabled, you'll receive a dedicated Daily Recap message in your Beside Personal Inbox each day. It highlights:
Key moments from your conversations
Action items and follow-ups
Reminders and next steps
It's like a personal assistant helping you close the day with clarity.

Daily Recap is available in the mobile app only.
It is not available on Beside Desktop for macOS.

How does Daily Recap work?
When Daily Recap is enabled:
You’ll have a dedicated Daily Recap conversation in your Personal Inbox
Each day, a new Daily Recap message is posted in that same conversation
You can open it anytime to review key updates and action items
📌 Daily Recap is sent once per day at your selected time. It does not update in real time throughout the day.
👥 Using multiple lines and inboxes?
If you're on the Beside plan and have multiple lines, you'll receive one Daily Recap per account, not one per line.
Your recap consolidates activity across all your inboxes and is always delivered in your Personal Inbox.
How to manage Daily Recap (turn on / off, change time)
Daily Recap is enabled by default and delivered every day at 6 PM (based on your device time).
You can turn it off at any time or change the delivery time to better fit your schedule.

Open Beside → go to Settings
Scroll down to Notifications → tap Daily Recap:
Tap Enable Daily Recap to toggle ON or OFF
Tap Daily Recap Time to select your preferred delivery time
If Daily Recap is turned off, you will no longer receive daily summary messages.

At the moment, Daily Recap messages cannot be deleted individually.
You can archive the conversation like any other chat, but permanent deletion is not currently supported.
What types of conversations are included?

Daily Recap includes:
Calls received on your Beside number
Calls forwarded from your primary number to Beside
Text messages sent and received through Beside
Voice notes recorded in Beside
ℹ️ Only conversations processed inside the Beside app are included. Calls handled directly through your carrier’s native phone app (without forwarding) will not appear in your Daily Recap.
