Beside's referral program has been discontinued. You can no longer get a referral link, share a referral code, or redeem one - not on Beside on the web, not on iPhone, and not on Android.

Rewards you had already earned are honored, and our team makes sure they get paid out. Referrals that had not earned a reward yet now show as Cancelled, and they will not pay out.

The referral pages are being removed everywhere: Refer & Earn is already gone from Android since Beside 1.24.0, and the referral page is being removed from Beside on the web and iPhone. If you earned a reward and haven't been paid for it, reach out to our Support team and we'll take care of it.

Where things stand

No new referrals. Referral links and codes are no longer handed out, and a code can no longer be redeemed anywhere.
Referrals still in progress are cancelled. Anyone who signed up, started a free trial, or ended their trial without subscribing now shows as Cancelled. Those referrals will not turn into a reward.
Rewards already earned are honored and can still be paid out.
Referral notifications have stopped.
The referral pages are going away. Already removed on Android in 1.24.0, and being removed from Beside on the web and iPhone.

Get an earned reward paid out

How you do this depends on what you can still see in Beside.

While your referral page is still there

Claim it. When a referral shows Reward ready, tap Get your reward. It then shows as Claimed under Recent earnings.
We review it. Your request appears under Activity as Payout request - Pending while our team reviews and releases it. There's nothing to do on your side.
Cash out. Once approved, the amount is added to your payout balance. On a secure payout page, choose how you'd like to receive your money and enter your details there. Venmo, PayPal, an Amazon gift card, and a prepaid Visa card are supported. Bank transfers aren't.

Once the referral page is gone

Reach out to our Support team from the Beside app or at [email protected], and tell us which referral the reward is for. We process these by hand, so nothing is lost now that the program has closed - including a payout you had claimed but not yet cashed out.

📌 Status labels you may still see:

Reward ready - your payout is available to claim
Claimed - you've requested a payout, and it shows under Activity as Pending until it's released
Paid out - your reward has been sent through the payout method you chose
Cancelled - this referral is no longer eligible for a reward, because the program has been discontinued

Rewards earned on Android

Refer & Earn was removed from the Beside mobile app on Android in Beside 1.24.0. There is no referral screen left in the app, so there's nothing to open, invite from, or follow there.

A reward you had already earned on Android is still honored, and still pays out as a $50 Amazon gift card sent by email. If a gift card you earned never arrived, reach out to our Support team with the email address on your account and we'll resend it.

Why can't I share my referral link anymore?

The referral program has been discontinued, so referral links and codes are no longer handed out on Beside on the web, on iPhone, or on Android.

Will I still get paid for the referrals I already made?

A reward you had already earned is honored, and our team makes sure it gets paid out. A referral that hadn't earned a reward yet - someone who signed up or started a trial but wasn't a paying subscriber long enough to release a reward - now shows as Cancelled and won't pay out.

Why does one of my referrals show Cancelled?

Because the referral program has been discontinued, invites that hadn't already produced a reward are no longer eligible for one. The person you invited keeps their Beside account and their subscription - only the reward is cancelled.

I earned a reward but I haven't received it. What now?

Reach out to our Support team with the details of that referral and we'll look into it and process the payout by hand. Rewards earned while the program was running are not lost now that it has closed.

I never received my Amazon gift card. Can you resend it?

Yes. If a gift card you earned never arrived, reach out with the email address on your account and we'll resend it. This is handled by our team directly.

Can I still use a referral code when I sign up?

No. Referral codes are no longer accepted anywhere - on Beside on the web, on iPhone, or on Android - even one that was shared with you while the program was running. Opening a referral link now just opens Beside without applying a code.

Can I still refer someone from Android?

No. Refer & Earn was removed from the Beside mobile app on Android in Beside 1.24.0, so there's no way to invite anyone from Android. A reward you had already earned before then is still honored and still pays out as a $50 Amazon gift card.

The referral page disappeared from my app. What happened?

It was removed as part of discontinuing the referral program - on Android in Beside 1.24.0, and on Beside on the web and iPhone after that. Nothing is wrong with your account, and nothing you earned is lost: reach out to our Support team and we'll process any reward you had earned.

Is there an affiliate or ambassador program instead?

Not at the moment. The referral program has been discontinued and there's nothing new to sign up for today. If that changes, we'll announce it.
