From iPhone or Beside on the web: cash rewards - $100 for your 1st referral, $150 for your 2nd, $200 for every one after, up to a total of $10,000 in lifetime earnings
From Android: $50 Amazon gift card per successful referral
💡 Two flows, one program:
The 14-day trial for the referred party, the 30-day rule before your reward is released, and the prohibited activities are the same across all platforms.
Only the reward type (cash vs. gift card) and amount differ - based on which surface you used to share your code.

Who can participate
The same rules apply across all flows (iPhone cash, web cash, and Android gift card).
Referring party: You must be an existing Beside user with an active, in-good-standing paid subscription.
Referred party: Must be a new user with no prior trial or subscription history with Beside.
How it works
Unique referral code
When you join the program, you receive a unique referral code and shareable link that you can send through the share sheet, copy and paste, or scan from a QR code.
Sign-up benefit for referred users
New users who sign up with your referral code or link receive a 14-day free trial (instead of the standard 7-day trial). This is the same on all platforms.
Successful referral
A referral is considered successful when the new user converts from the free trial to a paid subscription and maintains it for at least 30 consecutive days. The 30-day rule applies on all platforms.
Rewards on iPhone and on the web
When you refer from iPhone or from Beside on the web, each successful referral earns you cash, on a tiered scale:
$100 for your 1st successful referral
$150 for your 2nd successful referral
$200 for every successful referral after that
Up to a total of $10,000 in lifetime earnings
💡 Past $10,000? If you'd like to refer more people than the program cap allows or become a Beside ambassador, contact us - we can craft a tailored agreement.
The 30-day rule applies the same way: the clock starts when your referred user converts to a paid subscription, and the payout becomes available once they've stayed subscribed for 30 consecutive days.
A Payout now button appears once your 1st referral is complete.
📌 Status labels on the Referral page:
Invite sent - you sent the invite. Your friend hasn't signed up yet.
Signed up - your friend used your link or code to create a Beside account.
In free trial - your friend started their 14-day free trial.
Subscribed - your friend started paying. The 30-day countdown begins.
Reward pending - your friend is on a paid subscription, but they haven't reached 30 consecutive days yet.
Reward ready - your friend has stayed subscribed for 30 days. Your payout is available to withdraw.
Paid out - your reward has been sent to your bank.
Cancelled - your friend cancelled their subscription before reaching 30 paid days. No reward for this referral.
The referral dashboard on the web shows three totals at the top:
Paid out - what you've already received
Earned - your lifetime earnings
Available - what's ready to withdraw

When you refer from Android, each successful referral earns you a $50 Amazon gift card:
The 30-day clock starts when the referred user converts from their free trial to a paid subscription
After 30 consecutive days, our team reaches out through the app to collect your email address
Your Amazon gift card is delivered by email within a few business days after that
There is a cap of up to $1,000 per user (approximately 20 successful referrals)

Prohibited activities
To keep the program fair, the following are not allowed - on any platform:

Referring members of your own team or organization
White-labelling or rebranding the referral program in any form
Sharing referral codes on public coupon sites or through social media ads
Using automated systems or scripts to generate referrals
Engaging in any fraudulent, deceptive, or unethical activities
