Plan & Credits is where you see your plan, what Beside has spent, and where it went. Your plan sets how many credits you get each month. Your credits set how much Beside can get done.
Beside decides how to spend those credits itself, inside the autonomy you have granted it. 📖 Choose what Beside can do on its own
How you start
Your business starts with 2,000 welcome credits. They never expire, there is no checkout, and there is no plan to choose yet. Beside gets going right after your report, and you pick a plan later, when you want more done.
Welcome credits are granted once per account, to the first business you set it up with. If you add another business later, it starts without welcome credits of its own.
Your free 30 days of Beside Phone
Finishing signup also starts a free 30-day trial of Beside Phone, with no card needed. On Plan & Credits it shows as Free trial, with the date it ends.
When the 30 days are up, Beside Phone stops unless you have chosen a plan before then. Your credits are not affected either way: they are not part of the trial, and they never expire.
📌 If you were asked for a card at signup:
Older signups started a 14-day trial with 1,000 credits instead. Anything left expires when the 14 days end, and your plan starts billing then unless you cancel before.
You can also start a plan earlier, from Plan & Credits.
💡 Not sure which one you are on: Open Plan & Credits. A renewal date at the top means you are on a paid plan. Free trial with an end date means your Beside Phone trial is running and nothing is being charged. No date at all means your welcome credits are yours to use, with nothing to cancel.
Your plan
Open Plan & Credits and select View plans, or Choose plan if you do not have one yet. There are two.
Plan | Credits per month | Price |
Standard | 5,000 | $99/month |
Pro | 12,500 | $249.99/month |
Both plans include exactly the same features: website creation and updates, blog posts and landing pages, Google Business Profile and reviews, ad campaigns, and text and email follow-ups. The only difference is how many credits you get each month, which is why Pro is shown with a 2.5× credits badge.
Change your plan
Open Plan & Credits, select View plans, then Switch to Pro or Switch to Standard. Your renewal date is shown at the top of the page.
The switch happens on your existing subscription, so:
Your renewal date does not move
Your new monthly credits arrive at your next renewal, not on the day you switch
The price difference is worked out for the part of the month left, so you are not charged twice for the same days
If you switch up and need the extra credits before your renewal, top up. Purchased credits never expire, so nothing is wasted.
How you pay
At checkout you choose between USD and EUR. Prices are set in US dollars, so if you pay in euros the amount is converted, and Beside shows you the rate it used. The euro amount charged varies with the exchange rate.
You can pay by card, or with Apple Pay or Google Pay when your browser offers them. On a desktop browser, Apple Pay shows a code to scan with your iPhone, so the card saved on your phone works there too.
If a payment fails
Your plan is not cancelled the moment a card is declined. Beside gives the payment time to go through, and the month's credits are not lost: once the payment recovers, the allowance you were owed is granted then. You do not have to ask for it.
If your bank declines the payment or its verification does not complete, nothing is charged and Beside tells you so. You can try again with another card from Plan & Credits.
If you run more than one business, each one carries its own subscription and its own credits. 📖 Run several businesses from one account
Your credit balance
Your balance is made of two pots, and they behave differently:
Cycle allowance comes with your plan and expires at renewal. It resets to your plan's amount on your renewal date, and unused credits do not carry over.
Purchased credits are the ones you top up yourself, plus your welcome credits. They never expire.
Work is charged to your cycle allowance first, and only draws on your purchased credits once the allowance is empty. So a top-up is never eaten by credits that were going to expire anyway.
Beside also translates your balance into something concrete next to it, for example ≈ 100 review replies, so you can tell what it is actually worth.
Used today shows what has been spent since this morning, and History lists every credit movement, including the monthly top-up from your plan.
Credits are spent when work is carried out, not when Beside thinks. Watching your business, working out what to propose, and putting a plan in front of you all cost you nothing. The charge happens at the moment approved work is actually sent.
What happens when you reach zero
✅ You will never get a surprise bill: Beside pauses new deliverables at zero. It never bills money for actions. The only way to spend more is to top up or change your plan, and both are your decision.
When your welcome credits run out and you have no plan, Beside shows you the two plans at the moment you ask for work it cannot carry out, so you can see what the work would need before deciding.
Top up before your renewal
If you run low before your renewal date, select Top up on the Plan & Credits page. Credits cost $25 per 1,000 and never expire:
1,000 credits for $25
5,000 credits for $125
10,000 credits for $250
Top-ups are available once you are on a plan. On a trial or without an active plan, choose a plan first.
Cancel your plan
You can stop your plan from renewing yourself, from the same page:
Open Plan & Credits and scroll to the bottom, below History
Under Cancel plan, select Cancel plan
Beside asks Cancel your plan? and tells you the date your plan ends. Select Cancel plan to confirm, or Keep plan if you have changed your mind
Once confirmed, the section reads Plan cancellation with the end date. Until that date, nothing changes:
Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. Beside keeps working, and you keep what you have already paid for. It simply does not renew.
Purchased credits do not expire, so anything you topped up stays yours.
Your cycle allowance ends with the period, as it would have anyway.
The cancellation applies to every workspace sharing this plan.
📌 Good to know:
Only the billing owner of the business can cancel the plan.
If you are on welcome credits with no renewal date, there is nothing to cancel - you are not being billed.
If you see Your cancellation was saved. The plan details are updating., the cancellation went through and the page catches up within a few minutes.
FAQ
How many credits do I start with?
How many credits do I start with?
2,000 welcome credits, granted once per account, to the first business you set it up with. They never expire and there is nothing to cancel. Older signups that were asked for a card started a 14-day trial with 1,000 credits instead, and whatever is left expires when that trial ends. See How you start above.
I added a second business and it has no welcome credits
I added a second business and it has no welcome credits
That is expected. The 2,000 welcome credits are granted once per account, with the first business you set up, rather than once for each business you add. A new business starts with its own plan and its own balance, and you choose a plan for it when you want Beside working on it. 📖 Run several businesses from one account
What happens when my free Beside Phone trial ends?
What happens when my free Beside Phone trial ends?
Beside Phone stops after 30 days unless you have chosen a plan before then. Nothing is charged, because the trial never took a card. Your credits are untouched: they are separate from the trial and they never expire. The end date is shown on Plan & Credits.
Which credits get spent first?
Which credits get spent first?
Your monthly cycle allowance, then your purchased credits. Since the allowance expires at renewal and purchased credits do not, this order means nothing you paid for is wasted.
Do unused credits carry over?
Do unused credits carry over?
Your monthly cycle allowance does not. It expires at renewal and resets to your plan's amount. Credits you buy yourself never expire, so a top-up is not lost at the end of the month.
Can Beside spend money without me?
Can Beside spend money without me?
No. Beside never bills money for actions, it only spends credits. Buying more credits or changing your plan are decisions you make yourself
Should I be on Standard or Pro?
Should I be on Standard or Pro?
You get the same features either way, so it is only a question of volume. Standard gives you 5,000 credits a month, which suits most businesses. Choose Pro if you want Beside doing more each month: it gives 2.5 times the credits for the same set of features. You can switch in either direction at any time.
Do the two plans differ on features or hours?
Do the two plans differ on features or hours?
No. Standard and Pro include exactly the same features, and neither is limited to particular hours of the day. The only thing that changes is your monthly credit allowance.
What happens if I switch mid-month?
What happens if I switch mid-month?
Your renewal date stays where it is, and the price difference is worked out for the days left in the month. Your new monthly credits arrive at your next renewal rather than on the day you switch, so if you need them sooner, top up.
How do I cancel my plan?
How do I cancel my plan?
Open Plan & Credits, scroll below History, select Cancel plan and confirm. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period and then does not renew. You do not need to contact anyone to do it. See Cancel your plan above.
What happens to my credits if I cancel?
What happens to my credits if I cancel?
Credits you purchased never expire, so they stay on your balance after the plan ends. Your monthly cycle allowance expires at the end of the current period, exactly as it would have at renewal. Beside keeps working until the end date shown under Plan cancellation.
Do my credits cover all my businesses?
Do my credits cover all my businesses?
No. Credits belong to one business and stay there - each business has its own plan, its own monthly allowance and its own balance. The 2,000 welcome credits are granted once per account rather than once per business, so a second business does not get its own. 📖 Run several businesses from one account
Is this the same as my Beside phone plan?
Is this the same as my Beside phone plan?
It depends on who bills your phone plan.
If Beside bills you directly, there is no second bill: Beside converts the subscription you already have onto your Agentic plan, keeps your billing date, and works out the difference against what you have already paid for the month.
If you pay for Beside Phone through the App Store or the Play Store, that subscription is not converted, and Beside cannot cancel it for you. You need to cancel it yourself before it renews, or you pay twice. See If you already pay for Beside Phone through a store in 📖 Beside Agentic and your Beside phone line
