Make your credits go further

What a month of Beside credits buys on Standard (5,000) and Pro (12,500): worked examples for a plumber and a cleaning company, what is free, and top-ups.

"What do I actually get for my plan?" is a fair question. Beside plans come with a monthly credit allowance, 5,000 credits on Standard ($99 a month) and 12,500 on Pro ($249.99 a month), and credits are spent only when finished work goes out.

This article turns those numbers into a realistic month for two kinds of business, shows what never costs a credit, and explains how to make your allowance last. 📖 Understand your plan and credits

What each piece of work costs

Beside charges once, when a piece of work succeeds. If it fails or you reject it, it costs nothing.

✅ Never charged:

  • Research, drafts, proposals and your first audits.

  • Calls your Receptionist answers. They never use credits.

  • Yelp replies, which you post yourself.

A month for a plumber on Standard

A two-van plumbing business with its Google profile connected, a Beside website and one ads campaign already running:

1,200

That leaves about 1,450 credits for a busy week. Launching a second ads campaign (2,500) in the same month would be the moment to top up or move to Pro.

A month for a cleaning company on Pro

A residential cleaning company with recurring clients, launching ads for a new move-out cleaning service:

In a month without a launch, the same business would use about 8,000 credits.

📌 These are examples, not a forecast:

  • Your month depends on how many leads, jobs and reviews you get, and on what you approve. Plan & Credits shows what you have actually spent.

Make your allowance last

  • Edit and reject freely. A draft costs nothing until it goes out, so reshaping it or saying no is free.

  • Turn off what you do not want. Set an area to Deny in Settings → Autonomy and Beside stops proposing that work. 📖 Choose what Beside can do on its own

  • Plan the big one-offs. A full website (1,500) or a campaign launch (2,500 each) takes a big share of a month. Time them, and top up that month if needed.

  • Keep the messages that win jobs. At the top-up rate, a 20-credit follow-up costs about 50 cents. A second message that books one job usually pays for a month of them.

Top up and running out

  • Order of use. Beside uses your monthly allowance first, then any credits you bought or got as welcome credits.

  • Monthly reset. Your allowance resets on your renewal date, and unused monthly credits do not carry over. Purchased and welcome credits never expire.

  • Top-ups. On Plan & Credits: 1,000 credits for $25, 5,000 for $125, or 10,000 for $250. Top-ups are available once you are on a paid plan, not during a trial.

  • If you run out. Beside pauses new work instead of charging you more. Your Receptionist keeps answering calls.

FAQ

Should I pick Standard or Pro?

Both include the same features and differ only in monthly credits. Start with Standard if your month looks like the plumber example. Pro suits a business with many leads and reviews, or one launching ads and pages often.

Do Receptionist calls use credits?

No. Calls your Receptionist answers never use credits, on any plan.

Will Always allow burn through my credits?

A finished piece of work costs the same whether you approved it or Beside sent it on its own. What changes is how much goes out: work you used to leave unapproved now ships.

Where do I see what I spent?

On Plan & Credits. Everything Beside finished is also listed under Activity, in Beside's profile. 📖 Understand your plan and credits
