📌 Note: Daily Recap is available in the Beside mobile app only. It is not available on 📖 Beside for macOS.
How Daily Recap works
When Daily Recap is enabled, you'll have a dedicated Daily Recap conversation in your personal line. Each day, a new message is posted in that same conversation. You can open it anytime to review key updates and action items.
💡 Multiple lines: If you're on the 👥 Business plan with multiple lines, you'll receive one Daily Recap per account (not one per line). It consolidates activity across all your lines and is always delivered in your personal line.
Turn Daily Recap on or off and change the time
Daily Recap is enabled by default and delivered every day at 6 PM (based on your device time).
Open the Beside mobile app
Go to Settings
Scroll to Notifications, then tap Daily Recap
Toggle Enable Daily Recap on or off
Tap Daily Recap Time to change the delivery time

Daily Recap messages cannot be deleted individually. You can archive the conversation like any other chat, but permanent deletion is not currently supported.

Daily Recap includes calls received on your Beside number, calls forwarded from your primary number, text messages sent and received, and voice notes recorded in Beside. Only conversations processed inside the Beside app are included — calls handled directly through your carrier without forwarding will not appear.

No. Daily Recap is generated automatically and cannot be manually edited.

Yes. If Beside detects actionable items in your conversations, it may suggest sending a follow-up message, setting a reminder, or completing a task. It also includes checkboxes to help you track your to-do list.
Daily Recap is sent once per day. Does it update throughout the day?

No. Daily Recap is a one-time summary sent at your selected time. It does not update in real time. Any activity after your recap time will appear in the next day's recap.
