Your Google Business Profile is how most local customers find you, on Google Search and on Maps. Connecting it is the first thing Beside asks for, because it is where your reviews, your photos, and your public details live.
Connect your profile
Select Continue with Google and sign in with the account that manages your Business Profile. Beside confirms which business it is linking to, and you can select Change if it has the wrong one.
Once you are set up, you can also do it from Connectors under Workspace in the left menu, or from the Connect Google Business Profile card at the top of Live on your Beside Agent page.
✅ Read-only to start with: Beside studies your profile, your reviews, and your local market to build your growth plan. Nothing is posted until you approve it. The connection is encrypted, and you can revoke it at any time.
If you would rather not sign in yet
Select Find my business on Google instead, then search by name and city. Beside reads your public reviews without connecting your profile, so you can see what it finds before deciding.
This is also the way through if someone else holds the Google account, for example a former agency or the person who built your website. You can connect properly later.

Not at the start. The connection is read-only, and nothing is posted until you approve it. Later, if you choose Allow for Google Business, Beside can act on its own, and every task it starts that way is recorded as such.
