Connect Beside to your CRM or favorite apps - sync contacts, log calls, and automate workflows. Native CRMs include HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Follow Up Boss, and Monday (web only), plus Zapier for 7,000+ apps.

Beside offers two ways to connect with the tools you already use:

  1. Native CRM integrations - HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Follow Up Boss, Monday

  2. Zapier - connect Beside to 7,000+ apps for automation and workflows

💡 Monday is currently web-only: the Monday integration is available on Beside on the web only. It is not yet supported on iPhone or Android.

Native CRM integrations

Beside integrates directly with the following CRMs:

Each Beside line can only be connected to one CRM at a time, but different lines can use different CRM integrations.

Connect your CRM to Beside

Follow the steps that match your device.

Beside mobile app (iPhone and Android)

Available CRMs on the Beside mobile app: HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Follow Up Boss. The flow is the same on iPhone and Android.

  1. Open Beside → go to Settings

  2. Under Integrations → tap Integrations

  3. Select the Beside line you want to connect

  4. Choose the CRM you want to connect: HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or Follow Up Boss

  1. Follow the authorization flow - you may be asked to sign in and grant permissions

Once authorized, Beside automatically starts syncing your contacts and communications. ✔️

Beside on the web

Available CRMs on Beside on the web: HubSpot, Follow Up Boss, Monday.

  1. Go to app.beside.com and open Settings

  2. Click Phone Numbers and select the line you want to connect

  3. Open the Integrations tab

  4. Next to the CRM you want, click Connect

  5. Follow the authorization flow - sign in and grant the requested permissions

Once authorized, the CRM appears as "Connected" for that line, and Beside automatically starts syncing your contacts and communications. ✔️

What syncs when you connect a CRM

Once connected, Beside automatically syncs contacts and voice communications from your Beside line.

Contact sync

When a new contact appears in Beside, a matching contact is automatically created in your CRM. Here's the logic:

  • If the call went through your AI Receptionist - Beside extracts the caller's first name, last name, and email and includes them when creating the CRM contact.

  • If no name is provided during the call - Beside still creates the CRM contact using the phone number as the contact name, so you never end up with blank records.

  • If new information becomes available later - if the AI Receptionist learns a name or email in a later call or voicemail, Beside automatically updates the existing CRM contact.

Communication sync

Every new voice interaction is logged in your CRM - phone calls, AI Receptionist calls, and voicemails. Each logged communication includes:

  • Title

  • Call summary

  • Recording (native upload or link, depending on the CRM)

  • Link to the Beside call note

  • Direction (inbound / outbound)

  • Outcome (answered, AI Receptionist, Beside voicemail)

Zapier - connect Beside to 7,000+ apps

Zapier is a workflow automation tool that connects Beside to thousands of apps - task managers, CRMs, productivity tools, and more - with no code needed.

Zapier works by pairing a trigger (an event in one app) with an action (something that happens automatically in another app). For example: when you finish a call in Beside, automatically create a task in your project manager.

  1. Sign up for Zapier (free forever plan available; paid plans scale with usage)

  2. Create a new Zap and choose Beside as the trigger

🟡 SMS authentication: Use your primary number linked to Beside to log in - not your Beside number.

  1. Grant Zapier permissions to access your account - click Allow

  3. Test your Zap before publishing to confirm it works as expected

  4. Click Publish to activate your Zap

FAQ

Can I connect integrations from the web app?

Yes, for HubSpot, Follow Up Boss, and Monday. On Beside on the web, integration setup is per line, from Settings → Phone Numbers → [your line] → Integrations. Salesforce, Zoho, and Zapier setup remain on the Beside mobile app for now. Once an integration is connected, the sync runs in the background regardless of where calls and contacts are created.

Can I connect HubSpot to Beside?

Yes - HubSpot is fully supported and syncs contacts, call logs, and AI summaries. Setup is available on iPhone, Android, and on Beside on the web.

Can I connect Monday to Beside?

Yes - Monday is available as a native integration on Beside on the web. Setup is per line, from Settings → Phone Numbers → [your line] → Integrations.

Monday is not yet supported on the Beside mobile app.

Can I connect different CRMs per Beside line?

Yes. Each Beside line connects to one CRM at a time, but different lines can use different CRM integrations.

Can I sync contacts both ways between Beside and my CRM?

Not yet. Today's sync is one-way: Beside sends data to your CRM. Two-way sync is being explored for a future update.

Will Beside extract more contact information automatically?

Yes - expanded AI extraction is already live for calls handled by the AI Receptionist. Automatic name, email, and company detection for regular calls, voicemails, and SMS is coming.

Will my CRM contact details appear when my phone rings?

Not yet. A future update will display CRM information as soon as a call rings, making it easier to identify existing leads or customers before answering.

Does Beside have an API?

Beside does not offer a public API at this time. Zapier is the recommended way to automate workflows and connect Beside with other tools. If you need a custom integration, you can use Zapier's webhooks to send data to and from Beside programmatically.

Can I connect Go High Level (GHL) to Beside?

Go High Level is not natively supported as a CRM integration. However, you can connect Beside to Go High Level using Zapier. Create a Zap with Beside as the trigger and Go High Level as the action to sync calls, contacts, and summaries.

Can I connect Beside with Salesforce?

Yes - Salesforce is natively supported on the Beside mobile app (iPhone and Android). Beside syncs contacts, call logs, recordings, and AI summaries directly into Salesforce. Salesforce setup is not yet available on Beside on the web.
