Beside now offers two types of integrations:
Native CRM integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Follow Up Boss)
Zapier integrations (7,000+ apps for task managers, CRMs, productivity apps, and more)

At the moment, you can connect one CRM provider at a time, and the integration applies to your main inbox.
⚙️ How to connect your CRM to Beside
Follow these steps to link your CRM:
Open Beside and go to Settings
Tap Integrations
Under Connected Integrations, choose the inbox and the CRM you want to connect
Follow the authorization flow for that provider
You may be asked to sign in
You may be asked to grant permissions
Once authorized, Beside will automatically start syncing your contacts and communications
That’s it, the integration is live and running!
✅ What happens when you connect a CRM?
Once connected, Beside automatically syncs contacts and voice communications from your inbox.
1. Contact sync
When a new contact appears in Beside, we automatically create a matching contact in your CRM using the best information available.
Here’s the exact logic:
If the call went through your AI Receptionist:
Beside extracts details the caller provides - such as first name, last name, and email - and includes them when creating the CRM contact.
If no name is provided during the call:
Beside still creates the CRM contact using the phone number as the contact name, so you never end up with blank or empty records.
If new information becomes available later:
If the AI Receptionist learns a name or email during a later call or voicemail, Beside automatically updates the existing CRM contact, keeping everything in sync.
2. Communication sync
Every new voice interaction is logged in your CRM:
phone calls you handle
AI Receptionist calls
Beside voicemails
Each communication is:
inserted into your CRM
linked to the right contact
stored as a note or activity (format depends on the CRM)
Every logged communication includes:
Title
Call summary
Recording (native upload or link, depending on CRM)
Link to the Beside call note
Direction (inbound / outbound)
Outcome (answered, AI Receptionist, Beside voicemail)
🔗 Zapier Integrations (Connect Beside to 7,000+ apps)
Zapier is a workflow automation tool that connects to and moves information between different applications you use. It works with 7,000+ applications, so there’s a good chance you can use it to make your favorite tools talk to each other.
In other words, creating workflow automations things like sharing your call notes to other tools like task managers and CRMs is possible.

What is Zapier?
This tool helps you automate repetitive tasks between two or more apps - no code necessary. When an event happens in one app, Zapier can tell another app to perform (or do) a particular action.
A trigger is a specific event that initiates a workflow.
An action is an event Zapier performs after the workflow is triggered.
How do I connect Zapier to Beside?
Sign up for Zapier (Zapier has a free forever plan. Paid plans scale with usage.)
Create a new Zap and choose Beside as the trigger.
Select the trigger event you want to use.
4. Click Sign In and authenticate using Apple or SMS.
This will prompt you to log in your Beside account through Apple sign-in or SMS.
If you use SMS, please use your primary number linked to Beside to log in.
5. You will be asked to give Zapier permissions to access your account. Click "Allow” to continue.
6. You then need to define the action you want to happen as a reaction to the trigger.

7. The Zap Creation process invites you to test the Zap before you turn it on for real, you’ll be able to tell if the Zap is doing what you want!
8. Finally, when the Zap has been created and tested, don’t forget to publish it!

Yes! HubSpot is now fully supported. You can sync:

Can I connect different CRMs per inbox?
Yes, today, when you connect a CRM provider, the connection is applied to the specific inbox you selected, not to all inboxes.
Can I sync contacts both ways (CRM ↔︎ Beside)?
Not currently. Today’s sync is one-way (Beside → CRM).
Two-way sync is being explored for a future update.
Will Beside extract more contact information automatically?
Yes, expanded AI extraction is working for calls handled by the AI receptionist. Regular calls, voicemails, and SMS are coming.
This will allow Beside to automatically detect and sync names, emails, and company information even if they weren’t included in the original phone contact.
Will CRM contact details appear when my phone rings?
Planned, not yet available.
A future update will display CRM information as soon as a call is ringing, making it easier to identify existing leads/customers before answering.
