Where to find your Convert numbers now

The Convert score and its funnel page have been retired. Here is where each step of your funnel shows now, from first contact to paid: Jobs, Calendar, your ad landing pages, and the Marketing Audit for getting found.

Beside used to show a Convert score: one number for how well the people who found you turned into paying customers, with the funnel behind it. That page has been retired, and old links to it now open your Marketing Audit.

The steps it measured have not gone away. Each one now shows where you work on it, as real requests rather than a score.

Getting found is measured separately, in the Marketing Audit. 📖 Understand your Visibility score

Why your funnel matters more than more leads

Most "we need more leads" problems turn out to be "we answered half of them and followed up on none". If people drop off between reaching out and booking, more traffic only means more people dropping off.

The places below show you where that happens. Fix the step where you lose the most people first, and every lead you already get is worth more, before you spend anything to get new ones.

Where each step shows now

Most of your funnel lives in Jobs, in the left menu, where every request that came in moves from step to step:

Step

Where to look

Someone reached out

A new request in Jobs, at Received, with where it came from

You had a real conversation

The request moves to Contacted

They booked

The request moves to Booked, and the appointment shows in Calendar

They paid

The request moves to Paid, and the line under the Jobs title adds up what customers paid on the jobs Beside brought in

You lost them

The request is in Closed, with the reason, such as Did not book or Customer did not show

💡 Read the split: Once both new and existing customers have paid, the line under Jobs shows the two amounts apart. If your existing customers bring in more, looking after them may be worth more than spending on ads.

For your ads

In Ads, open a campaign. Its overview shows Ad Revenue, Spent and ROAS, and its Landing Pages tab shows, for each page your ads send people to, its Views, Actions, Leads and Bookings.

What is no longer shown

There is no funnel score any more, no share of people at each step, no revenue opportunity figure, and no Convert, Close, Retain and Grow stages.

If you want a number like that for your own business, ask Beside in Chat, for example How many of last month's requests did we book? 📖 Ask Beside about your business

Where the numbers come from

Your calls and texts, your website and ad forms, your calendar, and your customer system. Every request in Jobs belongs to a real customer record, which you open by selecting their name.

Without a connected customer system, Beside cannot see who actually paid. You can still record it yourself: open the request, select Update request, then Payment received.

FAQ

Where did the Convert page go?

It was retired when Ads was reorganized. Old links to it now open your Marketing Audit, which covers getting found and your reputation, not what happens after someone reaches out. For that part, use Jobs.

Is my Visibility score still there?

Yes. Visibility is one of the two pillars of the Marketing score in your Marketing Audit, next to Reputation. You open the Marketing Audit from your Library.

Where do I see the leads I am losing?

In Jobs. Under Open, anything still at Received is someone nobody has reached yet. Under Closed, each lost request keeps the reason it ended, so you can see whether you mostly lose people before the first call or after the quote.
