After each call, Beside automatically creates a summary with key points and next steps. You control who sees it and how it's shared.
Who can see a call summary
If your contact uses Beside: Both of you can see the call summary directly in the app.
If your contact doesn't use Beside: Only you can see the call summary.
How to share a call summary
On mobile
Open the Beside mobile app and go to your line
Select the call, then open the summary card
Scroll through the icons at the top of the summary card
Choose how to share: copy link, copy text, email, Notes, Notion, Slack, or other apps
💡 Also on macOS: If you use 📖 Beside for macOS, you can view transcripts and summaries from your mobile calls on your desktop. Go to the Phone Calls tab and open the relevant phone note.
On macOS
Click the meeting you want to view in the left sidebar
Click the Share button in the top-right corner

Are shared call summary links secure?
Yes. Beside generates a signed, unique, unguessable link. Only someone who receives the link from you can open it. No one can discover it randomly. This follows the same security model used by Google Docs and similar platforms.

Can anyone view my transcripts or summaries without permission?
No. Nobody can access your call transcripts, summaries, or recordings unless you actively share the link with them. If you don't share it, the content remains private and only visible inside your Beside account.
