Group chats let you communicate with multiple contacts in one place - perfect for coordinating with clients or anyone you work with. Creating one only takes a few seconds.
⚠️ Important limitation: Group texting with non-Beside contacts is not supported yet - all participants must be using Beside. The team is actively exploring ways to support this in the future.
Create a group chat
Open the Beside mobile app
Go to the Inbox tab
Tap the + icon at the top right of the screen
Tap New Group
Select the contacts you want to include (search or scroll through your list)
Tap Create to start the group chat
Your group is now ready. Send messages, share media, and collaborate with everyone in one thread.
Add team members to group chats
If you'd like to include invited members in your group chats, you'll need a 👥 Business plan. This plan lets you share your line with your team so they can participate in shared conversations.
